What we do at every camp!
Everyday at Summerfun is filled with indoor and outdoor activities. Inside, we sing, dance, share stories, play, build, paint and work on special projects. Outside, we have swimming lessons in our wading pool, take walks to the pond to muck about in the wetlands, play on the playground, work in the gardens and greenhouse, play games on the field, or just relax in the shade.
What changes week to week?
The camp theme! Whether it be princess or giant, frog or monkey, butterflies or things that fly through the air, there is always something new to explore and discover at SummerFun.
Our schedule is one thing that does not change.
After drop off at 8:30 am, we open with circle time telling stories, sharing, and talking about camp themes. Campers then choose from many activities to explore and discover. Swim lessons begin mid-morning with a Red Cross certified swim instructor. After a swim, we take to the playground to swing, or dig, climb or slide. At noon we join together for lunch. First pick up happens at 1:00 pm. Three and four year olds staying later have rest time. Campers who are five years old continue with activities. Rest time ends around 2:00 pm and the group comes together for even more SummerFun until pick up time at 3:00 pm.
Here’s some information to help you get ready:
What to bring and leave at camp:
- Please bring two complete sets of clothing, including long pants, a sweatshirt, socks, underwear and shoes.
- Sunscreen and insect repellent
- Bring a swimsuit and towel for swimming
- If your child stays for rest, send a bag with a small pillow, blanket and a soft snuggly friend.
Each day:
- Bring a healthy lunch.
- Apply the first round of sunscreen and insect repellent before coming to camp.
- Wear socks and sturdy shoes. If you do wear sandals, make sure they are not flip flops. We will be running, hiking, and climbing outside.

SummerFUN is on the Hilltop Montessori School campus,120 Summit Circle, Brattleboro, Vermont 05301. Take exit one off of I-91. Head north on Route 5 (Canal Street) turn left at Fairview Street, slight left at Maple Street, turn left at Guilford Street and continue up the hill turning right on Summit Circle. We are the first driveway on your left. Parking is pass the circle on your left.
